A homegrown Georgia boy, Tim Jones has lived all over the state — west, north, and east — and loves the diversity each region brings. He grew up in Gwinnett, played baseball at Parkview High School, went on to play at Georgia Perimeter Junior College, and graduated from the University of West Georgia. The detail most people don't know about Tim is that he spent 17 years in education before he ever stepped onto a roof — the final 14 of those years teaching special education in team-taught and small-group classrooms — and he served as a head baseball coach of a 4A high school program from age 25, coaching for 20 years total.

When the pandemic pulled him out of education, Tim went looking for another way to help people. He found it at Peachtree, and the team has been recognizing it ever since: three years running as Most Improved Project Manager, plus a Culture Award and a Motivator Award along the way. His specialty is straightforward — he truly cares about his homeowners — and that authenticity is what builds the referral base that drives his business. The mentor's wisdom he carries comes in two flavors: "Be still and know that I am God," and "Keep your nose to the grindstone and figure out a way to make it work." His promise: he will find a way to help, even when a homeowner thinks all hope is lost.

Home is his wife Jennifer and their three dogs — pit bulls Bo and Arrow, and Frenchie Drip. Tim and Jennifer love to travel, hike, and play disc golf together. Fun fact: they have completed Angels Landing in Zion National Park. Bucket-list trip: taking his wife to Havasu Falls.
