Rafa Berrios grew up in Marietta and considers Atlanta home — the city in the forest, the cultures stacked on each other, the whole thing. He started his sales career the way a lot of people do — selling Cutco knives — and from there worked in restaurants, cold-called in logistics, managed inbound sales, and knocked on doors. He wanted to feel every type of sales before he committed to one. Hospitality taught him to meet people at their most frustrated. Construction brought everything together. After graduating from Georgia State, Rafa spent the last decade in construction sales because he genuinely loves solving problems and earning trust one conversation at a time.

His specialty is relationships that turn into lasting referral networks. With a residential shingle background focused on insurance restoration for wind and hail damage, Rafa speaks the language of homeowners, adjusters, realtors, and contractors fluently from the first conversation — reviewing Xactimate estimates, understanding policy coverage, and knowing materials well enough to recommend the right upgrades. His proudest Peachtree memory is helping the daughter of Martin Luther King Jr. restore her roof — preserving the original copper finish on her chimney cap and flashings — a moment he calls surreal for a kid from Atlanta. His promise to clients: "My word is my business. I'd rather lose a deal than lose my name."

At home, Rafa is with his wife Shelly, their two kids, and their two fur babies, Betti and Rita. The family hikes, travels, and explores national parks — a recent RV trip took them through Yellowstone, the Tetons, Moab, and the Grand Canyon. He and Shelly are also founding members of Atlanta United and regular-season ticket holders. Fun fact: he is still chasing the high of going 31-0 with his high school soccer team and winning a state championship, the year they ranked fourth in the nation.
