OJ Durujones was born in California and spent her early adult life as a transplant to South Florida, eventually settling in Hollywood, Florida, and starting a family. She loved the small-town feel of Hollywood and the beach — but as her oldest started high school, she made the deliberate decision to slow life down for her kids. Not wanting to be too far from family, she settled into the comfortable familiarity of Marietta, Georgia. OJ's early career was in customer service and visual arts; she studied Digital Web Design and Multimedia, worked for the City of Miami Beach, freelanced as a photographer, and ran her own digital company on the side. During Covid, she worked for a Public Adjuster who became too ill to continue. That door closing led to a knock on a different one — she met MJ, and as she puts it, the rest is beautiful history.

At Peachtree, OJ specializes in customer service and is rapidly becoming an Xactimate guru — a tool she once found completely overwhelming. Now she is sketching, testing herself, and learning more every day. Her superpower is adaptability and execution. The three mentor lines she keeps on rotation say a lot about her sensibility: "Don't confuse transition with failure," "A fool at 40 is a fool for life," and "Protect your energy from constant urgency." She works quickly but efficiently, and she likes to check in on her work family because sometimes it just helps to know someone cares.

Home is her two children, Chloe and Caleb, plus her "plant kids" Stella, Shadow, Bella, and Khai. Off the clock, she is on a sports field cheering on her athletes, behind the camera, or in the garden. Fun fact: OJ and her kids bake as therapy, and she makes a mean red velvet cheesecake. Bucket-list trip: taking the kids to Europe.
